Nancy opened her store in March of 2008 after shopping with her daughter for her wedding.
She felt the area and the consumer would benefit from another choice. Now instead of driving
to Syracuse or Binghamton, you can shop in centrally located downtown Cortland, NY. Nancy's
shop was located at 37 Main St. As of October 1, 2009, Nancy's Bridal Shop will be located at
17 Main St., close to the Hallmark Store. Nancy is in her store, greeting her customers
personally. She does her own alterations, making sure every gown or dress is perfect.
Nancy offers, with a small deposit, layaway with monthly payments. She also has a 3-day hold
policy for those who may need a second opinion. Remember shop local--save gas, save
time, and save money.
To visit Nancy's store-from Rt. 81 (south or north) use Exit 11. For south bound turn right at
stop sign, for north bound turn left at stop sign. You will proceed to the second light, turning
right (Clinton Ave. ). You will proceed straight again to the second stop light with a left turn on
to Main St. This street is a one way and you can park on either side. Nancy's bridal is on the
left hand side and next to the Hallmark Store. You will see dresses in the window. If you are
coming from Rt. 13 south, turn left at the light on Tompkins and Broadway. At the second light,
take a right on to Groton Ave. Stay straight till the second light, taking a right turn on to Main St.
If you are coming from Rt.13 north, you will need to turn right on Church St. At the second light,
turn left and at the next light you will need to turn left again. You are now on Main St.
Nancy's new store is located on the first block of Main St. Her name is on the front of the
building. Please stop by and see the new, bigger location.
Nancy offers Venus, Impression and Davinci Bridal Gowns; Dessy, Bella Formal, small line
from Jasmine called JB bridesmaid for your bridesmaid. For the upcoming Prom season,
Faviana, Sparkle, and Excite will be available. Nancy has also decided to help the area
schools by giving back 10% of the dress price to the school to be used for the after prom party.
End of year Sale--Starts Dec.10--50% off Mother of Bride and Flower Girl dress, 25% off all
Bridal Gowns, Prom dress and clearance dresses. Discount is on the lowest price and store
stock only. This is a cash and carry sale, need room for the new lines coming. Shop early for
